When my now ex-wife and I first split up, I had access to a recorder for 10 weeks. After a short time, I promised myself I could drink as much as I wanted so long as I made music first. This resulted in 70 hours of recorded music. A touch over 100 minutes are presented here.
I found a comfort in playing or sustaining the same note, passage or chord well past the point where I would ordinarily either cease the music or change chords (or notes). I found in doing so I would arrive somewhere new, or unexpected, -- or someone's name would arrive in the music and I would feel their Spirit with me.
This approach to music served as subconscious preparation for the Yoga practice I began a few months later -- namely with Yin and Restorative Yoga, where poses are held a good while. After a time there's a relaxation, allowing for energy to move and mend my Body and Soul.

May it continue.
